How do I locate my tracking number after my order has been marked completed?
You will receive a separate email with your tracking number once your order ships. You can also view it in your account under your order details.
What wall thickness should my parts have?
We recommend a minimum wall thickness of 1mm. Anything below that is not guaranteed for print quality.
How long does it take for my order to ship?
Typical turnaround time is 4–5 business days depending on the material selected.
Will you share my files with anyone or share them on social media?
No. All customer files and parts are kept confidential unless otherwise specified by you.
What type of printers do you use?
We use HP MJF 5600 Pro machines, EOS P396/P770 systems, and XYZ 230 printers.
What resolution are your prints?
Our layer thickness is typically 80 microns for MJF and 120 microns for SLS.
How accurate are your internal thread inserts?
We recommend using threaded inserts for best performance and accuracy in threaded applications.
What is the shore hardness of your TPU?
Our TPU has a shore hardness of 86A.
Do you offer 3D scanning off an existing model?
No, we currently do not offer 3D scanning services.
What type of finishes (post-processing) do you offer?
We offer Raw, Tumbling, Polished, and Vapor Polished finishes.
How thick should a living hinge be?
We recommend approximately 0.65mm (0.025 inches) for living hinges.
Do you offer CAD design work?
Yes. CAD design services are available starting at $50/hour. Contact us for more details.

3D Printing FAQs
Do you print in color?
We offer multiple color options for MJF and SLS processes. A .3MF file is required for accurate color quoting.
What type of CAD files does your quote engine support?
We accept STL, 3MF, OBJ, STP, and STEP files.
What type of files can I 3D print off of?
We can print from most CAD formats, though STL is preferred.
How do I request orientation on my parts?
Upload your file and include orientation instructions during checkout.
Does post-processing affect dimensions?
Yes, slightly—typically around 0.05mm.
Does JawsTec offer 3D metal printing?
Yes. We offer Aluminum, 316L Stainless Steel, and 17-4 PH Stainless Steel.
How big can my part be?
Up to ~380mm x 280mm x 380mm on MJF machines. Larger on EOS systems.

What materials do you 3D print with?
We offer Nylon PA12, PA11, TPU, Polypropylene, SLS PA2200, and more.
Which material is least likely to warp in the sun?
SLS PA2200 performs best, though coatings help improve UV resistance.
Do you print with resin?
No. We use industrial powder-based processes like MJF and SLS.
What material is most flexible?
TPU (86A) is our most flexible option.
