How long does it take for my order to ship?

Depending on the type of material you choose; we strive for a 4-5 business day turnaround time.

How do I locate my tracking number after my order has been marked completed?

You will receive an email from JawsTec with your tracking number as soon as your order is shipped. You can also see your tracking number in your account, click your order number and scroll all the way down.

What materials do you print with?

We offer MJF Glassed-Filled Nylon PA12, MJF Nylon PA12, MJF Polypropylene, MJF Nylon PA11, TPU 1301, SLS PA12, and SLS PA2200. Coming soon: Metal printing.

Does Tumbling or Polishing affect the dimension on my finished part?

It could affect your dimension by .05mm.

What wall thickness should I have on my parts?

We recommend your wall thickness be at or above 1 mm.

What type of files does your quote engine support?

Our 3D quote engine will accept STL, 3mf, OBJ, STP, or STEP files.

Do you offer Rush Production?

Yes, we offer rush production on our quote page for MJF PA12, SLS PA12, and SLS PA2200.

Rush production orders must be placed by 2:00pm MST in order to start printing same day. Orders placed after 2:00pm MST will be delayed by 1 business day. 

Will you share my files with anyone or share them on social media?

No, we keep your files and finished parts 200% confidential unless otherwise specified from you, the customer.

Can I email you my order or place it by phone?

In order to keep track of all orders, we prefer that you place your order online. If you have any questions you may email us at [email protected]

Do you offer scanning off an existing model?

No, not at this time.

How much will it cost to print my part?

Once you upload your CAD file on 3D Printing Quote, you will be provided an instant online quote. We are unable to quote off a drawing or PDF.

Do you guys 3D print metal?

Do you print with resin?

No, we print using industrial high-end resolution printers. We offer the following materials: Nylon PA12 (MJF & SLS), MJF Nylon PA11, MJF Polypropylene, and TPU.

How big can my part be to be printed in a single section?

The HP MJF machines have a max print area of 380mm x 280mm x 380mm.

The EOS machines have a max print area of 340mm x700mm x 580mm.

What type of printers do you use?

We printing using the HP MJF 4200, 5210 machines, along with the EOS P396, P770 machines.

What type of files can I 3D print off of?

We can print from almost any 3D cad file type, STL files are our preferred method. 

What resolution are your prints?

Our layer thickness is 80 microns in MJF and 120 microns in SLS.

What type of finishes do you offer?

We offer tumbling, polished, vapor polished, and raw.

Which material is least likely to warp in the sun?

SLS Nylon- raw with no color, but it will discolor to a yellow color over time. Painting parts that are going to be in the sun is a good idea or vapor polishing will protect your parts from sun rays as well.

How do I request orientation on my parts?

We now offer a section on our quote page.  After uploading your CAD file select the box for a specific orientation on the and upload your PDF or image showing your exact orientation. 

What material do you offer the is the most flexible?

TPU is the most flexible material we offer.

What material is most impact resistant?

MJF Polypropylene. 

How accurate are your internal thread inserts?

For internal threads, we would recommend have threaded inserts installed on your parts.

What is the shore hardness of your TPU?

Shore hardness for our TPU is 86A

How thick should a living hinge be?

We recommend .65mm or .025″

Do you print in color?

We now offer HP full-color printing. If order for a quote you will need a .mf file.

How long does it take to print my order?

Using industrial printers as we do, your part/order could take anywhere from 12-24 hours to print. That does not include post-processing.
