Textured 3D Printing Overview

Textured 3D printing adds intentional surface patterns to printed parts to improve grip, reduce glare, hide layer lines, and create a more consistent, production-ready appearance. At JawsTec, texture is applied using industrial processes like MJF and SLS with proven nylon materials, making it ideal for functional prototypes and end-use components in consumer products, robotics, automotive, medical, and industrial applications where both performance and appearance matter.

Adding Texture to your parts with JawsTec

Texturing is the process of adding intentional surface patterns or tactile finishes to 3D printed parts to improve aesthetics, function, or usability. Whether you need better grip, reduced glare, a premium look, or a way to hide layer lines, textured surfaces can dramatically elevate the feel and performance of your prototypes. Industries like consumer products, automotive, medical devices, robotics, and wearables rely on textured 3D printed parts to achieve production-ready finishes early in development. With JawsTec’s professional texturizing services, instant quoting, and expert support, you can validate designs faster and bring high-quality, custom-finished parts to life with confidence.
