Why Kodiak Businesses & Innovators Print With JawsTec

Kodiak's unique economy, driven by its fishing industry, Coast Guard presence, and growing small businesses, often faces challenges in accessing advanced manufacturing locally. Specialized parts, prototypes, or short-run production can be difficult or expensive to source on the island.

We offer a strategic alternative:

  • Scalability: Unlike smaller local shops (if any), our Idaho facility runs massive banks of HP MJF and EOS SLS machines. We can scale from 1 prototype to 10,000 units instantly.
  • Speed to Market: Your parts leave our machines and arrive on Kodiak Island in as little as 3-4 business days, significantly faster than many local custom fabrication options or lengthy mainland shipments.
  • Material Versatility: We specialize in durable, weather-resistant materials like Nylon and Polypropylene, ideal for marine applications, industrial components, and robust prototypes needed in Alaska's challenging environment.
