Frequently Asked Questions from Mountain View Clients
What types of stainless steel do you fabricate?
We primarily work with 304 and 316 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and weldability for various applications, from medical enclosures to outdoor hardware. Other grades may be available upon request for specific project needs.
Can you handle tight tolerance requirements for complex assemblies?
Absolutely. Our advanced laser cutters and CNC bending machines are capable of achieving high precision, often meeting tolerances as tight as +/- 0.005 inches depending on material thickness and part geometry. We excel in complex parts common in robotics, aerospace, and medical device prototypes.
Do you offer welding, hardware insertion, or assembly services?
Yes. We provide a full range of secondary services including TIG/MIG welding, spot welding, hardware insertion (PEM nuts, studs, standoffs), and basic assembly. Our goal is to deliver ready-to-use components or sub-assemblies to streamline your production process.
