How do I locate my tracking number after my order has been marked completed?
You will receive a separate email from JawsTec with your tracking number as soon as your order is shipped. You can also view your tracking number in your account by clicking on your order number and scrolling all the way down.

What wall thickness should my parts have?
We recommend your wall thickness be at or above 1 mm. Any wall thickness under 1mm we do not guarantee print quality.

How long does it take for my order to ship?
Depending on the type of material you choose, we strive for a 4-5 business day turnaround time.

What type of printers do you use?
We print using the MJF 4200/5210 machines from HP, along with the EOS P396/P770 and XYZ 230 machines.

What resolution are your prints?
Our layer thickness is 80 microns in MJF and 120 microns in SLS.

For internal threads, we would recommend having threaded inserts installed on your parts.

What materials do you 3D print with?
We offer MJF Glassed-Filled Nylon PA12, MJF Nylon PA12, MJF Polypropylene, MJF Nylon PA11, TPU 1301, SLS PA12 (XYZ Machine), and SLS PA2200 (EOS Machine). Coming soon: Metal printing.
SLS PA12 is our recycled powder and SLS PA2200 is our premium fresh powder.

What type of CAD files does your quote engine support?
Our 3D quote engine will accept the following CAD files, .STL, .3mf, .OBJ, .STP, or .STEP files.

How much will it cost to print my part?
Once you upload your CAD file on our online 3D Printing Quote, you will be provided an instant online quote. We are unable to quote off a drawing or PDF.

What type of files can I 3D print off of?
We can print from almost any 3D cad file type, .STL files would be our preferred method.

Which material is least likely to warp in the sun?
SLS PA2200 Nylon- raw with no color, but it will discolor to a yellow over time. Painting parts that are going to be in the sun is a good idea, or vapor polishing will protect your parts from sun rays as well.

How do I request orientation on my parts?
We now offer a section on our quote page. After uploading your CAD file, select the box for a specific orientation and upload your PDF or image showing your exact orientation.

How long does it take to print my order?
Using industrial printers as we do, your part/order could take anywhere from 12-24 hours to print. That does not include post-processing.

Does Tumbling, Polishing, or Vapor Polishing affect the dimension on my finished part?
It could affect your finished part dimension by .05mm.

Do you offer Rush Production?
We offer rush production on our quote page for MJF PA12, SLS PA12, and SLS PA2200.
Rush production orders must be placed by 2:00 pm MST to start printing the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 pm MST will be delayed by one business day.

Do you print with resin?
No, we print using industrial high-end resolution printers. We offer the following materials: Nylon PA12 (MJF & SLS), MJF Nylon PA11, MJF Polypropylene, SLS PA2200, and TPU.

How big can my part be to be printed in a single section?
The HP MJF machines have a max print area of 380mm x 280mm x 380mm.
The EOS machines have a max print area of 340mm x700mm x 580mm.

These processes may affect the dimensions of your parts by 0.05 mm or less.
