SLS Nylon

For SLS prints, we offer Nylon PA 2200 and PA12.

SLS PA 2200

Description

Applications

Our SLS Nylon PA 2200 material is extremely resilient against friction and chemicals. It is great for mechanical or functional parts. We can produce nylon parts for prototypes, large-batch, and small-batch orders.

SLS PA 12

Description

Applications

Our SLS Nylon PA12 material is a functional option for many project types. It is a helpful option for testing designs. We can produce PA12 parts for prototypes, large-batch, or small-batch orders.

Available materials

SLS Nylon PA 2200

SLS Nylon PA 2200 is an extremely versatile material. Parts made with PA 2200 are sturdy and durable, great for functional projects ranging from hinges to prosthetic appendages. It comes in white but can be dyed after printing to any other color. Parts produced with PA 2200 are created energy-efficiently, and are quick to result in end products.

SLS Nylon PA12

SLS Nylon PA12 is a highly recyclable material, which makes it best for design testing. SLS PA12 comes out in a white color that can be dyed to any other colors. If you are looking for a good material that is somewhat cheaper than PA 2200, you may want to consider PA12. One issue is the possibility of small defects, due to the recycled nature of the material.

MJF Nylon

For MJF prints, you can order Nylon PA 12 and PA 11.

MJF PA 12

Description

Applications Our MJF Nylon PA 12 is one of our most popular material and is durable, resulting in a high density part. It is ideal for watertight assemblies and complex designs, as well as prototypes of any kind. We can produce MJF nylon parts in large and small quantities for very reasonable prices.

MJF Nylon PA 12 is one of our most popular materials. It has excellent UV and heat resistance. It is also chemically resistant and is great for producing complex designs and geometries. MJF Nylon PA 11

MJF Nylon PA 11 is also produced from a renewable source, making the parts produced with PA 11 cleanly manufactured. This material is also impact resistant, and structurally strong. Glass-Filled Nylon

You can order Glass-Filled Nylon for your 3D printing parts.

Applications Glass-filled Nylon parts are exceptionally sturdy.  They are more expensive than regular nylon parts, but are better enforced and resilient.

Available materials

MJF Nylon Glass filled PA 12

We offer glass-filled printing with our PA 12 material. You can select the glass-filled material when uploading your files in our instant quote page. With essentially the same properties as the regular PA 12 material, glass-filled parts are more durable and sturdy. They are also more thermal resistant. We suggest choosing glass-filled nylon if your parts require increased strength properties.

  • FAQ 1: What resolution are your prints?

    Our prints have a layer thickness of 80 microns in MJF and 120 microns in SLS.

  • FAQ 2: What types of printers do you use?

    We print with HP MJF 4200 and 5210 machines, as well as EOS P396, P770, and XYZ 230 machines.

  • FAQ 3: What types of finishes do you offer?

    We offer raw, tumbled, polished, and vapor polished finishes on our parts.

  • FAQ 4: Does tumbling, polishing, or vapor polishing affect the dimensions of my parts?

    Tumbling, polishing, or vapor polishing finishes may affect the final dimensions of your parts by 0.05mm.

  • FAQ 5: Do you offer rush production?

    Rush production is available for MJF PA12, SLS PA12, and SLS PA2200. However, you must have your orders in by 2:00 MST in order to start printing the same day. If you order comes in after 2:00 MST, your rush production order will be delayed by one business day. You can select rush production on our quote page.

  • FAQ 6: What is your most flexible material?

    Our TPU with a shore hardness of 86A is the most flexible material we have.

  • FAQ 7: What type of files can you print off of?

    We can print off almost any CAD file type. We prefer .STL files.
