What materials are commonly used for 3D printed interior car trim pieces?
We suggest using PA 2200, PA11, or PA12 for printing parts on car doors or dashboards. These materials are sturdy and easily dyed to allow for maximum customization. Read more about each material we offer here.
Are 3D printed interior car parts as durable as traditionally manufactured ones?
Interior car parts that are 3D printed are incredibly durable and sturdy. If designed and installed correctly, they should last almost as long as traditionally manufactured ones. They will be additionally strengthened if vapor polished or otherwise reinforced by another process during post processing.
Can I customize the design of 3D printed interior car trim pieces to match my preferences or vehicle's style?
You can customize 3D printed designs as much as you want! The files we print are 100% designed by you, and you can choose the surface finish and final dye color. Additionally, you can paint your parts yourself for even more customization ability.
